UNIQUE COMMUNITIES/COMMON MISSIONS

Every DayBridge Community is as different as every family is different. Every community is a grass roots solution for the families in need. DayBridge doesn’t have a large infrastructure to support, or a hierarchy to please. We are not institutional care, we are family-centered support.

We create the kind of atmosphere and energy where someone WANTS to spend the day!

  • Every DayBridge Community has a minimum of two staff on duty at all times. (Some personal care can be arranged if needed.)
  • Communities are conveniently located on STA scheduled routes and are easily accessible by van.
  • DayBridge is in the process of qualifying for COPES funding and Respite funding through the Developmental Disabilities Administration.

DayBridge North

DayBridge North has a home-like atmosphere, a peaceful décor and a stable and nurturing staff.

We honor our participants for their own unique life stories, and respect their individual needs, interests, and preferences.  We work to create an atmosphere where compassion, companionship and living in the present is valued.

DayBridge North families use the time we offer to run errands, take care of business, or just get some well-deserved time off.   Few things in life are more unrelentenly stressful than caring for a loved one with dementia on a daily basis. With DayBridge’s help you don’t have to do it alone anymore!

We offer:

  • A warm welcome;
  • Music & Laughter;
  • Stimulating activities in groups and one-on-one;
  • Gentle and appropriate exercise;
  • Nutritious meals provided by Meals on Wheels;
  • Safe environment with secured exits.

DayBridge on the Hill began in 2016 as Positive Action Learning based at Project ID in north Spokane. Beginning February 1st  it is part of the DayBridge family and has opened a big new location: the large basement/Fellowship Hall at Bethlehem Evangelical Lutheran Church at 28th and Freya on Spokane's South Hill. We are so grateful for the folks at Bethlehem Lutheran Church who have opened their building and their hearts for our program.

EVERYONE deserves the right to live to their fullest potential. Our mission is to encourage growth, independence, confidence and dignity. And to have fun.

Finding a good "fit" for a special-needs adult, a place where they can be fully connected and belong, can be a challenge. We would like to share with you the programs and efforts we put into creating a rich life full of activities, healthy nutrition,  community engagement while developing lifelong, genuine friendships.

DayBridge on the Hill is open 9-5 M-F but with plans to expand hours to evenings and Saturdays soon.
