I am writing on behalf of my family to thank you and let you know how grateful we are to have found your facility. We had been searching for a place for my sister where she would feel welcome and where she would feel she had a purpose. Your positive, loving, happy place was just that. Lori looks forward to coming "to work" each time and is always so happy to be there. I can't express what a blessing you and your staff have been. We are so grateful to know that when we bring Lori to you she is safe and happy! The care and kindness you share is greatly appreciated. We are looking forward to continuing to enjoying your place as a cheerful, safe-haven for Lori as time goes on. Thank you very much for what you do and for the support and care you provide.

Where do I begin to describe all the day care has meant to us as a family? Spokane Adult Day Care was a life saver for all the members of our family. In August of 2015 we were at our wit’s end with my father- in-law, who was at stage 4 Alzheimer's. He had just moved to Fairwood in independent living with my mother-in-law and was not doing well with the change. We thought getting him into a daycare would be the answer. Little did we know how much of an answer that would be. The first day I think I was more apprehensive than anyone else. Dad was asking, “What are we doing here?”. We were at a loss of what to say, but Nancy stepped in and said, “Well Dr. George you are going to help us out a couple of days a week. We really need your help around here.” She gave him the chore of separating a jar of nuts and bolts. Dad loved it and we were able to walk out, run some errands and return 4 hours later. Dad was grinning ear to ear. They were singing his favorite hymns and he was directing the music! Dad has been going there twice a week ever since that day. He leaves every time smiling and happy, sadly he doesn't remember it from day to day and wonders why he's going there. I just remind him he's volunteering and, when he asks if he's getting paid, I tell him he will be, in Heaven one day. He’ll have many stars in his crown.

I appreciate the Adult Day Care so much. The director, Nancy, and her staff are very helpful and provide a great service for the Spokane area. My mother, Donna Bordi, has been going there for some time now and is typically not a social person. However she looks forward to going to the center for the activities as well as seeing Nancy and her staff and the other senior citizens. It is nice for me to have the day care look after my mother and not to have to worry about her care while I am able to shop for groceries and necessities for her. It is a really good break for me and my husband. Donna truly enjoys herself there and always comments about the music and stories they share. She is excited each day we take her.
